“We’re deeply committed to the communities we serve,” states Dr. Paul Schaefer, president of CRA. “In Olney, for example, we support the fundraising efforts of the hospital and participate in health fairs and other community events. Whenever we open an office in a new neighborhood, we work hard to meet the referring doctors and to ensure that we provide excellent service to them and their patients.”

In addition to serving as president for the past nine years, Dr. Schaefer is also the Medical Director of Leisure World Imaging Center and serves on the Foundation Board at Montgomery General Hospital.

Dr. Schaefer received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology and was on staff at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. where he specialized in thoracic imaging. Dr. Schaefer is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology.His clinical expertise includes thoracic imaging, cardiac imaging and mammography.
